Twenty-eight and counting

The two-week crafting marathon is almost over. I've had a wonderful time and have discovered creativity I didn't even know I possessed. Thirty one cards is fourteen days is quite a loft goal. If you're thinking it was easy, think again. Sure 31 identical cards would not be so hard to make. Time-consuming yes, but hard, no. Creating 31 totally different cards/projects is work. It's almost a full-time job. Trying each morning to come up with something totally different really makes you dig done in your creative bag of tricks and "make it work." It's a journey I've enjoyed and I've also enjoyed reading about other survivor's journey as well.

On another not I received a call from my oncologist's office on Friday. My oncologist is one of the foremost authorities on breast cancer surgery. Their office was contacted by a local television station that is doing a piece on survivors. They wanted to be put in contact with a survivor who was positive and upbeat during and after treatment. I was told I was their absolute first and only choice! Woo Hoo! So on Wednesday morning at 5:30 am I'm be making my television debut. I'm so excited. I have every intention of mentioning Link Up For Pink and the women on the internet that participate. I think it's a wonderful way to bring even more attention to the importance of taking care of our breast health. Wish me luck.

The image was a freebie from Saturated Canary. It was colored w/Copics and cut with a Spellbinders Nestabilities die. The papers are small bits from my stash. I've added bling, organza ribbon, and a sentiment printed on my computer to finish it all off.
