Enjoy your beer

I've made quite a few masculine cards lately. This is just one.

The image was colored with Copics. I used flocking on the foam of the beer. It was dry embossed with a Fiskars embossing plate and inked with CTMH Barn Red ink. I also used bronzed colored brads, and hemp cord with decorative paper as well as a Nestabilities decorative cut.

I'm submitting it to

Birthday Sundaes Challenge #23

You have to participate in the Birthday Sundaes challenge this week. Use the colors, pink, green and white. I am so excited because I am the featured designer this week and here's what I came up with:

The image is from The Greeting Farm and colored with Copics and Prismacolor markers and highlighted with Stickles. The butterflies were made with a Martha Stewart punch and highlighted with glitter. The "lace" border is a Martha Stewart punch as well. The paper and ribbon are from my stash and what card would be complete without bling?

This week's projects

I was going to recreate a "get well" card I'd made previously but once I got started it changed into this.

I used a Greeting Farms image and some scraps of paper that were laying on my table. The sentiment was cut with the Cricut but I don't remember which cart. It doesn't show well in the photo but I embossed the sentiment with the Swiss Dot Cuttlebug folder. Although I love sewing, I have no desire to sew paper on my $8000 sewing machine. The faux stitching was done with my trusty Gelly Roll pen. The image was colored with Copics. I used a small amount of glitter glue on her stethoscope. I added the black Skittles to tie in with the black polka dot paper.

I'm alsio working on an order for eight altered journals.

Luckily it's that time of year again and the Composition books are dirt cheap all over town. I used Mod Podge to adhere the paper to the journal and have not had any wrinkling. I used Copic refill ink to color the Skittles. I'm putting together a tutorial on how I do my journals. Check back.

I don't need your attitude

I think this image is so cute. The inside of the card says, "I have my own!"

I'm calling this a "kitchen sink" card because it has some of everything on it. This image is colored w/Copics and cut with a Nestabilitie and highlighted w/ink. The background is stamped with white ink and highlighted with my homemade glimmermist. I distressed the edges and highlighted with chalk. I used my favorite faux stitching with Gelly Roll pin, added sheer ribbon and used a Cuttlebug embossing folder. What card is complete without flowers, bling and Stickles? This is the first time I've used a charm and I think the sentiment on it is a wonderful finish for her cute pouty face!

U R Fabulous

I made this card for my SIL. She is a super person and I know she'll absolutely love this card. I wish I'd gotten a better picture of this side step card. It features a Copic colored image accented with Stickles and Glossy Accents on the lens of here glasses. Foam dots behind the image addes a nother dimension. I used scraps of leftover paper from a two-page LO. The sentiment was cut with my Cricut Creat and accented with flowers from a Fiskars punch. The final touch was the bling because you can never have too much of it and a sheer ribbon. I'm entering the card in
