Sassy Studio Designs Fun in the Sun

Today Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the Passion for Promarkers challenge. The theme is "Fun in the Sun." It's a great theme because we are in the throes of a heatwave. So please join us with your fabulous papercrafts.

What better way to celebrate Fun in the Sun than with a beach themed party. I started by coloring the Simply Sassy Swimsuit image and colored her with Promarkers. Next I chose the craft cardstock base and paper from my stash. I used the Frantic Stamper Stitched Scene Builder Edgers along with Ranger Vintage Photo Distress Ink to simulate sand. I added cuts from the Frantic Stamper Ocean Floor Icons to continue with the beachy scene.

I added the Dienamics Accent It Reel life dies cut and another Frantic Stamper die--Tropical Drinks using foil paper. Finally I stamped and trimmed the actual the sentiment card using a Close To My Heart stamp. Doesn't it look inviting?

Just Keep Swimming

While most of my cards feature Copic colored digital images, I'm not a one trick pony. I created this card using Frantic Stamper Inc Angel Fish , Ocean Floor Icons, and Stitched Scene Builders Edgers dies. Using adhesive iridescent paper, foil paper and craft cardstock along with sequins I was able to create a beautiful underwater scene.
