It's time for another Corrosive Challenge. This fortenight challenge is "Metal." So dig out all your metal and have fun. Be sure to stop by the blog to check out the rest of the DT's efforts.
The image is from Sassy Studio Designs Steampunk Collection, colored with Copics and highlighted w/Stickles and a Gelly Roll pen. After embossing the background white-core paper with a Cuttlebug embossing folder, I lightly sanded it to reveal gear the design. I used both a Tim Holtz and Donna Salazer Spellbinders Nestabilities die to add addition interest. Who knew I had 7 Gypsies metal embellishments in my stash? Finally I added the Tim Holtz small paper clip and ticket embellishment accent w/his Distress ink. The image is popped up with foam tape.

Love this, Rachelle. Her green outfit came out awesome, and your embellishments are fantastic. I like how well the embossing folder, die cuts and metal circle (is it a monacle?)work together.
ReplyDeleteAwesome card!
