Hip to be square
The Dare to be Sassy Thursday (DTBST) challenge this week at Sassy Studio Designs is to make a square card. This is certainly a change for me because my cards are usually 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. This card is 6 x 6. The image was this week's free on Paper Craft Planet. The image was colored w/Copics and the leaves were highlighted with Stickles. The die cut leaves were cut with the cricut and distressed w/sandpaper. The edges of the image were distressed w/Tim Holtz vintage photo ink. I layered ribbon and lace to match her sweater and jacket and added skittles as the final touch.

Sassy Stripes & Dots
Here's another Sassy Studio Design card Stripes and Polka Dots entry. I love SSD images.
The paper is from the Paper Studio Classic pack. The flowers are from 3Birds. Swirl bling is Recollections from Michaels. I used oval Nestabilities, black bling and pear accents. The snowflake design was wet embossed. The "fur" and back are highlighted with flocking and glitter. The image was colored w/Copics. The sentiment is a set I got from a Dollar Store.

Celebrate You
I just love SassyStudioDesigns. This is another one of their images that I've used for a birthday card. Lately, I've started to stamp sentiments directly onto my pattern paper.
The paper is from a pack from Hobby Lobby. The bling flourish is Recollections from Michaels. "Celebrate You" from Just Rite stamps, flower from Flora Doodles, "Happy Birthday" from dollar store stamp, miscellaneous ribbon and other bling from my stash. Oval cut with Making Memories oval cutter. Image was colored with Copics.

Sassy Studio Designs Masquerade Ball Hop
The image is from Sassy Studio Designs Masquerade Ball Hop and colored with Copics and made dimensional with foam tape. The bats are also from SSD. The background paper is from a DCWV Fall Stack. The lace is Wrights hem lace found in most fabric stores, bought on clearance for 25 cents a pack. I used Nestabilities, homemade Glimmermist, CTMH ink, feathers, and of course my favorites which include 3Birds flowers, bling and glitter clue. The picture is not doing the card any justice because in real life it is BEAUTIFUL! Her mask is accented with glass accents.
