We have all be touched by breast cancer in some way. It could be a personal battle, a family member, a friend or a neighbor. Remember 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with the disease. Whether it be the "good cancer" (Stage 0) or the "bad" (higher stages) cancer is cancer and it's not something you want to experience. Be sure to schedule and keep your yearly mammograms. Also know your family history. Everything comes into play for diagnosis and treatment!
This image was offered as a freebie from Saturated Canary. I printed her "big head" style and colored her w/Prismacolor pencils. The striped designer paper is from Melody Ross and the others were from single sheets I had in my stash. I added a small glittery flower in her head made with a Fiskars punch and bling. Her eyes are highlighted with Glossy Accents. The image is popped up with foam tape. Finally I added my own sentiment which I colored w/an ombre effect and an organza ribbon. I'm almost halfway there so please stay tuned. I'll be sharing more creations and more about my battle with breast cancer.
